  4. This is shortest and clearest example of CRUD in C# that I saw till now. Excellent job! I'll look at your other tutorials too.

  5. I see you're using Dapper, and hence probably like the ideas of abstracting away the hard problems. You might benefit from checking out my channel, which describes Phosphorus Five, which (among other things) contains a CRUD app generator, with a MySQL database backend, allowing developers to simply "declare" their CRUD apps, in seconds, and have all the code for their CRUD apps automatically "generated" – At which point they can afterwards modify it, according to their own needs … 🙂

  6. Can you help me with this error?

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: 'Error converting data type nvarchar to decimal.'

do I need to use varchar datatype for my collumns?

  7. When I do a search it only searches one column in the gridview.  It does not search any text in any other column.  Is there a way to search for text in multiple columns?  I have four columns, Position, Name, Ext, Status in that order.  The search only searches the Name column.

  8. Great video and it works great.  Can you point me to how I would learn to auto refresh the gridview.  If one user make an entry a second user does not see that entry until they make an entry and save that entry.  I need the ability to auto refresh the gridview when multiple people are using the program at the same time and make an entry so that everyone see that new entry at the same time.

  9. In the solution explorer I have no "Solution 'DapperCRUD' (1 project)". so I cannot Right Click on it to install the Dapper. 🙁
could you give me the solution for this problem ?
how if i skip that step?

  10. So this might sound stupid but I have everything working but how does the end user launch the application?  I can run it through visual studio but don't know how to get the end users to launch it without using visual studio.

  11. Thanks for making this video, I have a question.  When you are creating the save button function you are typing in SqlConnection and restore the name space you are hitting ctrl+. but when I do this I do not get the dropdown of possible name spaces to select Using System.Data.SqlClient; what am I doing wrong?
