USB-C has caused a lot of confusion. As Apple and other companies push to include only USB-C ports consumers are left with a lot of headaches. Also Tech insider: "we need to make a misleading video about usb-c to balance it out"

  2. Hello my friend,
I have Nokia 7.2 phone and on the wall charger wrote: output DC 5V 2A.
I wish to charge and sync the phone using a PC/Laptop.
GSMARENA website says that Nokia 7.2 have: USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go
But if I want to charge and sync the phone with with PC/Laptop Using a Samsung Galaxy S8 cable: 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector (GSMARENA)
    What is the difference between USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 to 3.1, Type-C 1.0 ?
Does this cable charge in higher power than allowed? Can this cable ruin my battery and phone?

  3. Then use your beloved usb 1.0! 😂 Only thing you can say wrong about type c, is because your crappy apple doesn't have it. Switch brand 🤣😂🤦‍♂️ n00b

  4. So the huge problem with USB C cables is that some cheap ones are worse than expensive ones, and that they could be different standards meaning different speeds. I hope they do realise that this is the case for basically every other cable. USB A, HDMI, Display port and Ethernet cables all have different versions with different capabilities
