  1. James look likes a teacher who just got off of work.
"I don't know why Billy couldn't get along with you, you seem like a mellow dude" lol

  2. I love how Howard gets his guests to play their least commercial songs and, instead, opts for either obscure or their latest work.

  3. they aren't harmonizing they are playing the different variations of the same chord progression. The reason you do this is because the power chord version is not only harder to sing and play at the same time, but also the heavier strings makes it punchier and also you can add the bottom 5 onto any of open A string power chords to give the riff even more punch.

  4. He must feel like a rat in a cage (considering how many times he's been obligated to play this song).

Que "Isn't it Ironic" by Alanis Morissette.

  5. Chamberlains fuckin got it… Funny they touring again now just after corgan sold all the guitars and equipment they used on original albums…

  6. Well done 🤘🌞🤘

I love the 90’s. Well the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s too, 🤣 but in this case Smashing Pumpkins is engrained in my core for life. 🎃

For this i say Thank you

  7. I lived in NYC for some time and was always a big SP fan. Well one evening I’m walking down the block in the East Village with a few friends, and as we get to an intersection the guy in front of us stops and hails a cab. We walk right up behind him (waiting for the cab to move) and he turns around as he opens the door. It’s James Iha! He looks at us and without thinking I say “Have a good evening James.” He smiles, waves, and says “Thank you, you too” In the cab and gone. We were walking behind him for a couple blocks and never knew. New York is cool like that

  8. It’s not necessarily ‘Harmonising’ guitar riffs, It’s more like the same things played on different parts of guitar creating different ‘voicings’ and therefore a ‘wider’ image.
