The Vietnamese government shut down Poem Mountain || We still climbed it! (Halong Bay, Vietnam) 🇻🇳

The Vietnamese government shutdown Bai Tho Mountain, also known as Poem Mountain for safety reasons. If you go on Trip Advisor, many of the reviews will say that it is impossible to hike up this mountain and that the lady at the entrance will not accept any money. While that may be true for some, that wasn’t the case for me and my group of friends. Bai Tho mountain is a hit or miss type of location. Although it is deemed closed, travelers are still able to hike to the top, it just all depends on the lady’s mood. In the past, the price to hike up was less than 100,000 VND ( Around 5 USD). Now, it’s five times as much! I’ll let you decide if it’s worth climbing.

  1. the security guard was from the government? I am seeing on tripadviser that there is a security guard from government. I am planning to do this in February. I am willing to pay 20 bucks for that view

  2. I read drones are confiscated at the airports too! They didn't give you any problems with it? How big is your drone? Thanks for this video!
