Unity 5 Tutorial: Logo / Splash Screen C#

In this small tutorial i show you how to make a Logo Screen which is showing before your actual game starts. It will automaticly load the next scene.

  1. ok never mind did what you said now it says that it cant be added because the script class Can not be found my script: using System.Collections;

  2. Cool. This worked really well in my game. I had to use the updated Scene Manager to get it to work but I managed to get it done fairly easily. Thanks.

  3. hi and thanks for the tut. I know this was posted almost year and a half ago and unity changed to scenemanagment…here is my script adapted can you see why it wont work?
    using UnityEngine;
    using System.Collections;
    using UnityEngine.SceneManagement;

    public class logochangescene : MonoBehaviour
    {   
    void start()
        {       
    StartCoroutine("Countdown");
        }
        public IEnumerator Countdown()
        {
            yield return new WaitForSeconds(10);
            SceneManager.LoadScene(1);
        }
    }

  4. I really want to remove the "made with unity personal edition" startup screen but i dont have enough money to pay for plus. Is there a way to do this without unity plus. ( like editing the unity source code, or does unity add some mind of file to my game?)

  5. I have some pharsing errors, here is my script:

        private IEnumerator Countdown()

            SceneManager.LoadScene(1)

        }

    }

    I added the SceneManager cuz its used in Unity 5

  6. I am getting the error – Assets/Scripts/SplashScreen.cs(12,29): error CS0548: `SplashScreen.Countdown': property or indexer must have at least one accessor

    I cannot find anything wrong with the script.
    Maybe you can find it.
