In this video, Jared shows us how to create and delete objects in Unity via scripts. We cover object instantiation, prefab spawning, object destruction, level design, and prefab creation. We complete all of these within 11 minutes and within Unity3d game engine.

  1. Why was the Main Camera the one holding Spawner script? Could a empty gameobject hold it instead? I am a little confuse.

  2. Fantastic! Is it possible to instantiate a GameObject inside an other GameObject (like Instantiate "Text" -> UI/GameObject_Y/*here*)?
