  1. This recipe tastes amazing and the crunch is incredible! great work except a warning needs to be placed in this recipe. My first batch was perfect, I turned off the heat as per instruction to avoid over browning/burning the donut, the 2nd batch I was able to regulate the oil to maintain the level needed to cook the donut without burning so I didn't turn it off after I put them in, they all started to explode splashing oil everywhere, it was so dangerous I had to leave the kitchen and wait for the explosions to stop as I had a few donuts in at the same time. I believe it's due to overheating the air pockets which causes the air to expand and the donuts to explode. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS RECIPE, It's otherwise an amazing recipe!!! my kids were over the moon. Thank you <3

  2. My boyfriend and I tried it it came out really thickish/doughy but it was still good (we actually don't know how it's supposed to taste ) your video was also a great help thanks 🍩

  3. Helen ơi, tại sao e làm bột xong nó khó nặn hình quẩy được vậy chị? bột nó cứ oặt ra và khi xoắn thì bị đứt?? chị bắt bệnh cho em vs!

  4. Mình làm rồi, không ngờ có công thức đơn giản mà ngon như thế đấy.
    Mình ủ bột lâu hơn chút thì ko cần bột nở có cũng nở tưng bừng. Lửa thì cũng ko cần bật tắt như thế, mình để lửa lớn lúc đầu rồi vừa thả vô là bật lửa nhỏ hết cỡ liền.
    Điểm trừ của cái bánh này chắc là ăn mau ớn haha, mình đang suy nghĩ làm sao để bớt ớn hơn.

  5. So, when I was frying the donuts in the pan, the donuts bursted open and the oil splashed everywhere. Was it because of the oil temperature, type of oil, or water is on the donuts?

  7. Looks great, Helen. Just curious, is there another recipe similar to this where the dough is a big flatter and you kind of cut a hole in what I think is rectangular piece and twist the dough through it somehow? I think it is fried and then you add honey to it. I remember a recipe like this as a kid and was wondering what the name of that dessert is. Thanks for sharing!

  8. Ôi tuổi thơ tôi, mình ở huế và nhớ lại hồi nhỏ người ta bán từng túi nilon nhỏ, nhai giòn rụm, mà chị Helen ơi, hình như e nhớ có vừng và mùi gừng nữa, và lớp đường phủ bên ngoài màu trắng đục !!!
